Martha came to the LMUCC in the summer of 2013 from the USC Child Care Center where she worked with children ages 18 months to 3 years. Additionally, prior to working at the USC Child Care Center, Martha had several years of experience serving as a preschool teacher at USC Head Start with children ages 2½ years to 5 years old and at the Foundation for Early Childhood Education, a Head Start program. She has 38+ units in child development to further her knowledge in infancy, toddler, and preschool age groups. Martha also holds an autism technician certificate and has experience working with children with autism. Moreover, Martha is fluent in Spanish and enjoys sharing her native language and culture with the children she cares for.
