Desiree Izaguirre, B.A.

Desiree Izaguirre recently earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA. She has supported young children in diverse early learning environments, including UCLA’s Early Childhood Education Center, where she implemented play-based learning strategies; Positive Development, where she worked with neurodiverse children using developmental relationship-based approaches; and the Refugee Children’s Center, where she provided culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. These experiences have shaped her commitment to advocating for accessible, inclusive early childhood education. Desiree is excited to join the LMU Children’s Center, where she looks forward to supporting children’s growth while continuing to learn from them and the dedicated educators around her.
