Ani Shabazian, Ed.M, Ph.D.

Ani earned her B.A. from UCLA where she majored in Psychology and History and minored in Applied Developmental Psychology. She went on to pursue a master's degree in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. Ani then returned to UCLA to obtain an MA/Ph.D. in Urban Schooling from UCLA's Department of Education. Prior to LMU, Ani served as the Executive Director of the Los Angeles Family School, and then as the Executive Director of the UCLA Infant Development Program and the Academic Administrator of the UCLA Applied Developmental Psychology Program. Currently, Ani holds a dual appointment at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), serving as a Professor in the LMU School of Education and as the Director of the Children's Center since 2008.
