AJ Estrella, B.S.

AJ graduated from UCLA with a major in Psychobiology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology (ADP). AJ grew up in the Philippines and moved to the United States when she began high school in 2016. She has always had a passion for working with children, especially focusing on their language, social, and cognitive development. In college, she was an intern, and later, a student teacher at the Megan E. Daly Infant Development Program as a part of the ADP minor, primarily working with children ages 0-3 years. Additionally, she also interned at KYCC’s Kids Town, where she gained experience in working with children ages 3-5 years old. In her spare time, AJ volunteered as a camp counselor with UCLA Unicamp, where she helped provide a memorable week up the mountains for children from under-resourced communities in LA. AJ is excited to continue to work with young children at LMUCC and to witness the children’s growth and discoveries every day.
