Eligibility Requirements

To ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable shared lodging environment, guests must be at least 18 years old and provide valid proof of age. To complete a reservation, you must also meet one of the following requirements:

  • A currently enrolled student from another college/university
  • An Intern or Professional working in the Los Angeles area

Terms and Conditions

  • Eligibility: Proof of eligibility (e.g., valid Student ID) is required at check-in.
  • Payment: Full payment for the entire reservation is due prior to check-in. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express).
  • Cancellations: Cancellations are accepted up to 14 days prior to the arrival date.
  • No-Shows: Reservations not honored without notice will be charged one night’s stay.
  • Check-In: 11:00 AM / Check-Out: 10:00 AM
  • Length of Stay: Minimum of 30 days.
  • To apply, complete the Summer Stay Housing application. Applications are usually approved within 7-14 business days, but it may take longer during peak times. If your application is approved, you’ll receive an acceptance email. To secure your spot, pay a $500 non-refundable reservation deposit within 7 days of receiving the email.

    Housing assignments are based on several factors, including first-come, first-served basis and your check-in/check-out dates. You will be notified about your housing assignment 10 days before check-in, along with directions to the residence hall.

  • - $500 non-refundable deposit: Due within 7 days of your housing acceptance email.
    - Full balance: Due 14 days before your arrival date. 

  • We only accept electronic payments. All payments must be made through our marketplace, which allows online payments with a credit card. 

  • Payment plans for LMU Summer Stay Housing are not available.

  • You may cancel your LMU Summer Stay Agreement by providing written notice to the University Events Office conference@lmu.edu at least 14 days before your arrival date. The $500 deposit is non-refundable.

    Once your Housing Agreement is finalized, there are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures. 

  • Yes, you can request roommates with compatible arrival and departure dates. You may include roommate requests on your application or email them to conference@lmu.edu up to 14 days before your arrival. We will do our best to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee them. It's recommended that roommates submit their applications at the same time.

  • Yes, we’ll match you with someone who has similar preferences and stay dates. However, we do not communicate roommate assignments to residents. 

  • Room changes depend on availability. If approved, a $150 change fee will apply.

  • - Check-in: Sundays between May 24 and July 5 (limited slots available the week of May 18th). Check-in time is from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will receive check-in instructions via email about 10 days before your arrival.   

    - Check-out: Saturdays between 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The last check-out date is August 8th.

  • You can request a parking permit on your application or anytime up to 14 days before check-in by emailing conference@lmu.edu. Permits are issued upon check-in. You need to provide the following information: vehicle make, model, color, license plate number, and state of issue.

  • -Summer Permit (May 1st – August 15th) $174.00
    -Summer Monthly Permit $87.00/per month
    -Daily Rate $20.00 

     

  • Yes, guests are allowed. For more details, please refer to the LMU Summer Stay Handbook. 

  • Housekeeping services are not provided for resident rooms or bathrooms within your room/suite. Residents are responsible for cleaning their own spaces. Housekeeping is available in communal areas, including lounges, hallways, and communal restrooms.

  • Yes, we provide a linen pack consisting of biodegradable sheets, pillowcase, blanket and a towel upon arrival. 

  • Yes, your apartment unit includes a kitchen with a Microwave, Refrigerator and Stove/Oven.

  • Extended stays are not allowed. Please arrange alternative housing if you anticipate needing to stay beyond your departure date.
