Holiday Restrictions: No events, functions, or activities may take place after 5:00 PM the day(s) before a university holiday or holiday weekend, except for religious services, university-sanctioned NCAA, athletic games and summer conferences

Crimson University Events
Priority Events: Crimson University events take full priority during the year. All other events are restricted on these dates due to their size, scope, and logistical complexity.
Blackout Dates for 2025-2026:
Finals + Commencement: May 11-18, 2026
Blackout Dates for 2026 Summer:
Alumni Reunions: June 5-7, 2026
Blackout Dates for 2026-2027:
Welcome Week: August 21-30, 2026
Alumni BBQ: September 25-27, 2026
Family Weekend: October 22-25, 2026
Finals + Commencement: May 6-17, 2027
Blackout Dates for 2027 Summer:
Alumni Reunions: June 4-6, 2027
Exception Requests: If you believe your event aligns with the Crimson University event, you may request an exception to host your event during blackout dates.
- Requests will be reviewed only 30 days prior to the scheduled events, and approval is not guaranteed.
- Plan for alternative dates to avoid conflicts, as support will be limited if approved.
Limited Student Support
Support Availability: Limited student support is available during specific times when classes are not in session, as outlined in the Registrar's Academic Calendar.
Event Planning: Events may still occur during these periods but be prepared for longer setup times and reduced support.
