Multi-Year Compensation Initiative

In December 2023, President Snyder announced a multi-year compensation initiative that will align LMU salaries beyond the market median to better support and retain faculty and staff, as well as recruit new talent.

Human Resources has established this information hub to keep faculty and staff informed as this initiative advances. Members of the LMU community are encouraged to bookmark the site for future reference as updates will be shared here. 

A project of this scale and complexity has many variables, which will require extensive feedback, support, and analysis from across the university to bring the initiative to fruition. To support these efforts, three subcommittees — Staff, Faculty, and Benefits — have been established comprising a diverse set of faculty and staff from across the university. The subcommittees began meeting in January 2024 and will continue to meet as efforts progress.
