Angela was born and raised in the Philippines where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts at St. Paul University-Manila and De La Salle Lipa College. When she moved to the United States, she had a chance to work in a clinic that helped children with learning disabilities. This is where she found the calling of one of the noblest professions which is being a Teacher. She began pursuing her career in Child Development at the Los Angeles Harbor College in hopes of achieving her dream of becoming a preschool teacher. She has received trainings in CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System), ECERS (Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale), and Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education. Currently, she has been working in this field for six years. Growing up, Angela was a member of the “Youth for Christ.” She feels that it is her mission to continue to help young children in learning about respect and to give them the love that they deserve. She is very much honored to become a member of the LMU Children’s Center.
