Liliana has been working with children for the past 16 years. She has earned an A.A. degree in Child Development, and is currently working on a B.A in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Special Education at LMU. She began her career at UCLA as an assistant teacher, and from there she worked at a Catholic center, as well as for a non-profit organization. At her last assignment, Liliana worked with a child with special needs, with whom she learned much and gained a lot of knowledge. This experience deepened her love for this field even more, and also sparked an enormous interest in special needs. She enjoys working with children and she strives to make their learning experiences as enjoyable as possible. Liliana enjoys music and movement activities, as well as reading with the children. In her spare time, she enjoys bowling, spending time with family and friends, and basketball (Go Lakers!). Liliana says that the past ten years at LMU have been great, and she looks forward to continuing to work and learn with everyone at LMUCC.
