Alex graduated from USC with a degree in International Relations: Global Business and a minor in Spanish. She became passionate about education during her senior year while interning for a non-profit education equity organization. After graduation she joined the Teach For America teaching leadership program and taught preschool full-time in the Lennox School District for three years, where she worked with children aged two-and-a-half to five years old. While working in Lennox, she enrolled in LMU’s Early Childhood Education master’s program, where she focused her studies on children's social and emotional development. Following graduation in May of 2011, Alex realized that her passion for education grew stronger and wanted to expand her horizons by fulfilling an administrative role. She has served on the LMUCC administrative team for the past five years and is thrilled and honored to continue to grow professionally as part of the LMUCC community.
