All full-time faculty and all full-time, regular staff members are eligible to participate. Eligibility commences on the first of the month following the faculty/staff member's employment date.
The University offers six long-term care options to each eligible faculty/staff member and spouse/domestic partner. The plan will provide benefits for nursing home, home health care or adult day care as a result of an injury, illness or aging. The cost of coverage will be deducted from the paycheck on an after-tax basis. Parents, grandparents, adult siblings, adult children and parents/grandparents/adult siblings/adult children-in-law of the faculty/staff member are eligible to apply and will be billed directly by the insurance carrier.
Effective January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. Contribution rates are evaluated annually and subject to change at the sole discretion of the university.
